Favorite Songs(Part Three)

In terms of the previous blogs, some more of my other favorite songs are by artists Elliot Smith, Smash Mouth, and Nirvana.

This is Elliot Simith.
Elliot Smith is truly an extraordinarily profound artist. The day I heard his music, I absolutely fell in love with the peculiar sound. Music is full of emotion and expression, and gives you a voice when no one is there to listen. You can absolutely hear Elliot in his music. The sound of his music takes you to a small town coffee shop in Seattle in the rain. His music tells so many stories and is unlike anything I have ever heard. Me loving his music is certainly rational.
A few examples of my favorite songs by him include,"Stupidity Tries", "Everything Means Nothing to Me", and "Between The Bars".
In "Stupidity Tries", you get an input of the stupid parts of life that may be upsetting, and still try to destroy the happiness in which we establish. Our foolish mistakes or incidents only support the person we will become and therefore stupidity does try, yet fails to succeed in possessing our treasures.
As for "Everything Means Nothing to Me", the song has an unusual and overwhelming sound that makes you question what matters to you. The reason I love these peculiar songs is because of their abnormal characteristics.
"Between The Bars", is a beautiful promise in my eyes. The bars are where Elliot is trapped in the midst of his emotions and promises love to his present lover. Despite our discontent circumstances at times, there are places in life, between what is terrible,(or the bars) and find happiness between them.
This is Smash Mouth
Smash Mouth is an alternative rock band formed in California of 1996. My favorite album from this band is definitely "Fush Ya Mung". Some of my favorite songs from this group include,"When The
Morning Comes", "Nervous in the Alley", "Walkin on the Sun", and "Padrino".
The first song I mentioned similar to "Morning Has Broken", illustrates an image of a new beginning day and the excitement it brings. Everyday you have the choice to live your life a certain way each day that comes, you just have to grasp opportunity.
The second song connects to any teenager like me. We are at a point in our lives, or an alley, where
we have anxiety and just want others to understand us. Things are overwhelming, confusing, and
certainly make us nervous.
As for "Walkin On The Sun", there is so much this world needs to change about itself and as people are complaining and not making a change, we are only growing farther from what we try to achieve in society. We as humanity complain and yet fail to make the effort to generate a change. The obstacle of time is dissolving in our presence, and this procrastination makes walking on the sun make more sense.
The final song "Padrino", talks about the complex aspects that thrive within our secrecy at times from one another. Catching secrets and lies can be seen a crime in itself.
This is Nirvana.
Nirvana was a grunge rock band consisting of Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, Kris Kovoselic, and Pat Smear
Nirvana is an absolute sick band. Their music is so deep but covered by great sound. Nirvana screams the sad and angered emotions we all feel at some point in our lives. My favorite songs by Nirvana are, "Lithium", "Heart Shaped Box", and "Something in the Way".
"Lithium" is great because although it really is sad to find your friends are nonexistent, and for depressing events  as a whole to thrive amongst life, feeling not okay is okay. It is realistic.
"Heart Shaped Box", describes being stuck within a relationship where even the most delicate of things can generate damage. There is constant complaint, but still there is mutual respect for the other.
"Something in the Way", describes the odd truth that there is always something that we see as horrible but all in all despite how bad something may seem really isn't that bad.

All of these songs truly have helped me through life and have so much meaning which I have found fascinating.
